A depiction of a Duke Ellington photograph. I had the pleasure of diving into the sounds of Sir Duke, John Coltrane, Mr Monk, and many others as I painted this piece. Duke Ellington was one of my first inspirations as I delved into jazz during my college years. Long live the sounds of Sir Duke!
